A night to remember at Wembley.
Last night Ethan got to experience something that many kids can only dream of – being an England mascot. As he led England out against Italy with the Captain Eric Dier, the pride I have for him was overflowing. His mum too would have been bursting with pride.
One thing the last few painful months have taught me is that despite the somewhat cynical age we live in, there are a lot of wonderfully kind people out there. From the fans we bumped into outside the ground, to the journalists in the media room, to the lovely crew from BBC Radio 5 Live and of course the FA who made it all possible – Ethan was made to feel loved and cared for.
These are just a few of the memories from a night to remember.
